Theme: Local - global tensions in career transitions and guidance
We welcome you to the 5th biannual gathering of international researchers, practitioners and experts in career guidance and transitions. This conference aims to foster discussions about the complex tensions between the local and global, and how they manifest in lives, ideas and practices. The ambition of the conference is to bridge disciplinary, thematic, theoretical, and methodological boundaries between research on career guidance and transitions.
We are happy to present two excellent keynote speakers, Dr. Nancy Arthur and Dr. David Reimer, who will contribute to this important discussion. The conference will take place in the beautiful town of Hveragerði, known for its hot springs, greenhouses, health resorts, and vibrant arts scene—where the natural environment's geological tensions mirror the themes of the conference. Hveragerði is conveniently located near the capital Reykjavík and the stunning natural wonders of southern Iceland.
